Dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah!

You say it's yer birthday?  Well, it ain't my birthday, too.  Sorry, Paul.  We did, however, have a nice little birthday dinner for Jenny's dad, who just turned 69 the other day.  He lives down in Osage Beach right on the Lake Of The Ozarks, which is about 3 hours away, so we didn't get a chance to celebrate on his actual birthday, but he happened to be in town tonight, so we decided we'd have a little get-together.

Jenny made an awesome dish of chicken breasts on a bed of dried beef with a gravy of cream of chicken soup and sour cream.  Man, was that good!  So moist - I can't stand meat that's dry, and chicken and turkey just tends to get dry really easily, so moist is a good thing - even if it's just a nasty sounding word (that's for you, Katie :-D).

Ya know who else had a birthday today? Soleil Moon Frye -Punky Brewster is friggin' 34 years old!  Granted, it's a few years younger than I am, but still - it's another indication that I'm getting old, just like the fact that Madonna was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!  I mean, she came on the scene when I was in 5th grade!  C'mon - it hasn't been that long, has it?  Really?

Anyway, the colors of tonight's stroke (purple and orange) are for a couple of the colors from the cake Jenny made for her dad - it had a buncha clowns on it.  It was really a great looking cake!  Happy birthday, Jim, and happy birthday, Punky!
